In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and concerns about plants and orders shipping from New York, my team and I have implemented a disinfection process in our pack and ship operations.
Going forward, all plants, packing materials, and packages will be sprayed with an alcohol-based solution to ensure that everything is as clean as possible and to put all our customers’ minds at ease.
As per CDC, it has been deemed safe to receive packages, even from areas that have reported cases of COVID-19. According to the World Health Organization, “the likelihood of an infected person contaminating commercial goods is low and the risk of catching the virus that causes COVID-19 from a package that has been moved, traveled, and exposed to different conditions and temperature is also low”.
